Nope, someone got a credit card. ;D My next round should be 2 new cymbal stands, a new snare stand, an Iron Cobra single pedal with Cobra Coil, and some new heads. I may take you up on that cymbal. I need to come to Monett anyways. I passed through there yesterday, but Rachel hadn't slept yet and she had to work last night so I had to get her home.

Whew JunkMan, you have been busy. I have not been nearly as busy but did pick up a Cajon and have been playing that quite a bit. Surprising how easy it was to learn the fundamentals. Also, dropped out of the Classic Rock band and focusing all the music energy twards Christian rock.

Hi Rick,I beat around on one of those cajons at GC the other day,of course not being a drummer they were pretty annoyed at me for attempting it,but they are a lot of fun to mess with. I might have to buy th boy one and see what he can do with it.

I've never played on one of those actually and would like to give it a go sometime. I'm fairly good with most hand percussion and "aux kit" drums, the cajon is just one that I've never come across before.

yeah J, I wish we didnt live so far apart....We could get together 2 or 3 times a week and get some material down really good, and start playing out...I really miss playing, but there is really no one in this area, or at least I havent found them, who doesnt have relationship, mental, drug or alcohol issues.

I goof around with them at Guitar Center on occasion, but I can't quite figure it out yet. I may need to practice a little more.

Lonnie, I may just pack my stuff and come north in the next week or 2 just for something to do. I need to broaden my skills and style anyways. If we could get something going and make a little money then it would be fun and a little easier to make the drive. Let me get this week over with and we'll see when a good time is. Probably on a Wednesday.

Well, 33 1/3 has been playing up at the No Wake Cafe more than a few times and they've given us another 6 for next year, already. I've pared my p.a. down to minimum and am looking for a Par38 light system to brighten us up. The problem is, I don't want the new, plastic smaller 38's. I like/want the longer, steel tube deals.
I'm going to be in Billings, MO Monday morning to pick up a few pieces of granite for my outside bbq box. If anyone's near by, we could do lunch at Petra's restaurant. Drop me an email at tuneman@littleshopofvoices.com
