I was looking at this tonight, the amp a/b switch, does that allow you to turn off the distortion on the same preset,or is it for something else entirely. I downloaded the manual, but it was no help..lol
Or can I have 2 different settings on the same preset.Like preset 45 has an a setting, and a different b setting, but it is still preset 45.

From the way I understand it, with the A/B switch you can only change the cab model and the eq on a preset. Everything else, like any effects for the preset stays the same. So I guess you could use one cab model for rhythm, and then when it came to the solo, switch to another cab model for the solo. Maybe someone else who has one will chime in here. But I would rather have the RP500, where you can turn on or off the individual effects, compression, distortion chorus, delay, and reverb on the fly...I played one the last time we went to Guitar Center, and I really liked it...Now I have to sweet talk TB!!!!! ;D
