I thought of this with Sanchos post about future gigs,What is the 2 places you want to play most in the future?
I went to Chicago, and while walking on the peer there was a blues band setting up and playing facing the open waters, and I thought that has to be one of the coolest places on earth to play.So that's one.
When I saw Black Stone Cherry at the Mosque, the guitarist walked out on stage alone and wailed out about 2 minutes of lead, wow what a feeling that would be,just to be cranked up in the Mosque,Marshalls (or Peavey's ) blazin, and the PA blowin' and wailing all by yourself for a few seconds. That has to be the all time #1 for me. hehe, I saw the black stone cherries last week in Harrison. we know(or the other guitarist) knows the drummer real well.
two places I would like to play the most are, well, somewhere in Japan and the conan obrien show.
if we could play on the conan obrien show, I know we will have it made. ;D

One would be the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, with a HUGE crowd like Brad Paisley had, a few years ago. It was reportedly the largest crowd ever to attend a concert at the fair.. Another one would be the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville TN...

I think the Super Bowl would be a Kool gig....and I would love to play in the Roman Colosseum.

#1. I'd like to play in Carrie Underwood's bedroom. #2. In the back of Willie Nelsons bus.
Just joking, I've already played at most of my favorite venues. I played at The Armadillo World Headquarters in '79. That was a lot of fun.
