Bought a used Rogue 5 string today in Pearl Grey, or whatever color they call black now. Anyway it looked really good, and the fit and finish is as good as I've seen on a guitar of this price. The neck is straight and solid, the tuners are sealed and operate smoothly, and stays in tune as well. Pickups are P Bass in the front an Jazz in the back, separate controls for each one,and they sound bright and fat. NO problems to speak of.Sounds really good through my TNT115. I did a neck tweak and lowered the action and to my surprise it plays as good as any Epi, Kramer, or Squier I've owned previously. I would venture to say this is as good a guitar as you will buy under $300. So for $139 new it's a steal. Got mine used for $50 and I'm smiling all the way to the ATM. Need a cheap 5 string? This is a definite one to consider. Rogue LX205B

I have to tell you I was surprised at how well they are made. Usually the necks feel cheap and rough finished but this one is super smooth, and the action is as good as I've seen on a Bass. Certainly a keeper for me.

I just heard that the Rogue guitars are made by Samick for Musicians Friend which would explain the workmanship on the guitars. Samick made some really decent guitars
