Picked up an Ibanez Gio with 2 humbukers in it in black and a rogue 5 string bass today for 90.Felt I did pretty good on the deal. It's been a while since I bought Guitars,I usually get stuck buying drums..lol I'll get some real pics on here soon, here are the ones from the PO.

Now someone can clear this up for me... did Vie teach Satriani or is it the other way around? I've seen their work together with G3, Crossroads, etc. and heard that one was the student of the other. To see them, Satriani looks quite a bit younger so I'd assume he was the student but you never know these days.

Between the two I would take "Satch" any day of the week!! To me Vai seems to play like Yngwie Malsteen, just tries to see how many notes he can cram into a measure Listen to the song "Ten Words" on Satriani's Super Colossal album...SUPER GOOD STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!

Malmsteen is a twit,he just isn't even in the same league as Satch and Via. I can't even watch his portion of the G3 concert. I think they should have left him at home.
