I have been swapping and selling guitars nearly all my life, and I just wondered how you decide which ones you keep, and which ones get the boot? I mean I kept an 84 Westone while I sold my Les Paul, kept my strat and let go of a couple of really decent guitars,I even swapped off all my applause acoustic/electrics and kept the Epi PR200 which is not electric. It's something with the way the neck feels and how it feels when you play it. Can't describe it,just has to feel a certain way.
What is the deciding factor in what becomes a family member?

Its all feel, tuning stability and tone for me Rusty. Have gotten rid of some expensive instruments over the years cause others played better, sounded or stayed in tune better.
I prefer functionality over style these days. That said, the collection has been trimmed down from over 10 electrics to 4.

It was a 91 I think. I bought it stripped and put new pups in it. I broke my thumbs 4 places between the knuckles as a kid and if it's not a double cut away it pops my thumb out of socket and I can't play for a week or so until it heals. So I'm a strat style player because of that..lol Here's a few pics of the current lineup. Playing the Ibanez RG and the Aria mainly, but each have their place ya know www.falselyaccusedband.com/photo/albums/some-pics-of-my-gear
