Haven't been on here in FOREVER but I finally have a bit of headspace between Christmas and New Years to cruise forums again. We moved into Springfield and, among other things, I finally got my guitars hung at the new house. Crappy cell phone pic, I'll get some better ones tonight. I kinda choked at the pricing at GC for wall hooks so I got some "heavy duty tool hooks" at Harbor Freight (I've since found them at the S. Campbell WalMart for the same price $1.48 each), and a 2x6x8' at Home Depot... Little bit of drilling, cussing, and levelling and she looks pretty good!! $15 in the whole project. You must excuse the tiny acoustic 2nd from the right. That's my 2.5yr old daughter's guitar we call "puppy breath" long back story there!! (L-R: Emperador 6 string, Jackson AT-3, Dean Evo Tevo, unknown manu, Washburn D-100) Here's a pic of the arrangement at our old house. I didn't like leaving the guitars on the wall there though because there was no temperature regulation in the basement . My 12 string hasn't made it onto the wall at the new house yet, I figure if that rack is still there after a week I'll brave it! My offset V-Body is on loan to my bassist from church... Haven't seen it in months (L-R: Emperador 6 string, Douglas offset V, Jackson AT-3, Washburn D-100, Maton EM425C12)

Nice collection. I had a Montclair Dad bought new at Western Auto back in the late 70's looked just like Puppy Breath. Thing played like crap but it got the job done.lol I guess I'm still playing nearly all these years later.BTW I like the Jackson, sweet guitar!

Awesome man! We'll have to get together sometime and have a craptastic guitar jam session. I current have puppy breath tuned to open D (maybe?? LOL) so it doesn't sound too hideous when she open strums it all the time.
I picked up the Jackson when I lived in Australia. Gigged a lot with it when I moved to IL in 2003 but recently I've been favoring the Dean for my regular playing ($50 off Craigslist a while ago... cost me more in a cleaning and setup than the guitar itself did!)

lol I have a couple of those "finds" myself. I do all the setup and repairs though so it's just a fun hobby. I have guitars I play that I wouldn't gig with though, don't have a reason, just prefernce I guess. I gig with my partner of 25 years, Its a Aria Pro Knight Warrior and my Ibanez RG270. possibly my strat, the others I play at home.

Yeah, the mirrored panels had more of a "ozarks bordello" feel to it than what the boss really liked... :\

Looks good when we came over the other night Dave. I'm not sure how we're going to figure in the projector screen, but it'll work. ;D
