I was a drummer, I sold some guy here a pair of old folded horn type subwoofers. I sold all my gear and bought a motorcycle,,,,,, Give up? I was FUNKMASTERJ back then. I bought a pro level bass and amp and have rejoined the music seen as bikerbassist.
I am now a 47 year old bass rookie ;D I have been playin now for two months and have learned 54 songs. 30 of wich I'd say are good enough to play on stage. I did all this not know a single note on the fretboard. I have since began the painful process of learn that dreaded part of the bass guitar. I would be interested in finding some folks that could use a old rookie to jam with. Anyhoo I am glad to see this place is still up and running. John aka bikerbassist

HAHAHAHA friggin neighbors, I'd be willing to jam anytime. I am doing very well for a beginner. 54 tunes in 2 months. I guess those 32 years of locking in with the bassist while I was drumming helped some. Anyhow I am still in Springfield, Move into a new place and survived the economy. Life is pretty good man. The Bike is awesome, I rode over 9,000 miles this season. I'll be posting sum pics of the gear when I get around to shootin them. LATER

I went to the relm of bikers and discovered there aint many "old school" bikers left in the world. Mostly posers on high dollar scooters. I'm old school I ride for the sake of riding not looking like a bad *** and hanging at "bike nights"
Anyhoo I ride when I can and have a new love called BASS ( not da fish either ) I'll be hooking up with some other stay at home type players and just enjoy the tunes that stirred my spirit when I was a bit younger Glad to see ya are still with it
