Anyone know a good pair of sticks, I know it varies from Drummer to Drummer, but i tend to break sticks fast.

I just bought the boy a brick for $20 at Guitar Center. They are seconds from Vic Firth. While a few of them are not great quality, the majority of them last as long as the premium grade Firth sticks. I got a brick around Christmas and he's only broken 4-5 sticks since then, and he is a heavy hitter.

Vaters are great sticks. I use the 5B nylon tips and I love them. ;D

I Zildjian Rock model. Wood tip in my left/Nylon tip in my right. I also use Vic Firth... Carmine Appice model. They kind of have a large tip on the butt, for nice fat snare & tom sounds.

I have a pair of the Carmine Appice sticks I got at his clinic this fall. I like them but I think the finish is too smooth they very much too slick to play with but I love the design. Just my opinion. I do love the Zildjian Rock sticks but they are hard to find.
