I really like the Fender round wound, but haven't been able to find any lately at GC so I have been using the GHS round wounds.
So what strings do you prefer?

I usually use the GHS boomers in a .009,but with no place to buy strings without a mailorder,or a trip to springfield I bought some firstact strings at walmart.I must say they are not bad,and will do in a pinch. In fact I have them on all my electrics and have no complaints. I still use the martin phospher bronze on my acoustics though.

Martin strings are good, and I have used GHS White Bronze, and I really like them, but for some reason they are hard to find...

I typically load up some D'Addario's onto the acoustics. I'm running mediums on both the 12 string and the 6 string. The best I've used on the 12 string was a set of Dean Markley Cryogenics that I had in Australia. Awesome sound!! I've heard mixed things on the Elixers. Know a few guys who repeatedly blow those out set after set but still swear by them. To my mind if they're breaking all the time either you're playing wrong and need to adjust your technique, or the strings are crap and you don't want to admit that after dropping all that green on strings that break Electric is a mixed bag of GHS. D'Addario, and whatever else I have laying around when I pop a string!
